Website Terms & Conditions and Members Club Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Go Hug The World. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to (a) your use of our website at www.gohugtheworld.com and (b) our Members Club and related digital services (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or purchasing a membership subscription, you agree to these Terms.

Go Hug The World Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16834250, with its registered office at Sussex Innovation Centre, Science Park Square, Brighton, East Sussex, England, BN1 9SB.

1. Website Terms & Conditions

1.1 About the website. Our website provides travel-related content, guides, member tools, enquiry routes, appointment-booking access, community updates, and ways to contact us. Some content is public and some is only available to Members Club account holders.

1.2 Personal use only. The website and its content are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not misuse the website, scrape or harvest content or data, attempt to reverse engineer our tools, interfere with the operation of the site, or use the website to compete with or undermine our business.

1.3 Accuracy and market intelligence. We aim to keep things smarter, not stagnant, and travel information can change quickly. Website content, including destination commentary, deal guidance, property highlights, reports, examples, and planning content, is provided for general information and market intelligence only. It is not a guarantee of pricing, availability, suitability, or results. Final pricing and availability are only confirmed in writing as part of an enquiry, quote, or booking process.

1.4 Availability and changes. We may change, suspend, withdraw, or refine any part of the website, members area, tools, tiers, content, features, or services at any time for operational, legal, security, supplier, or commercial reasons.

1.5 Third-party links and services. The website may contain links to, embeds from, or integrations with third parties. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, and they may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

2. Members Club Terms & Conditions

2.1 Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a membership subscription.

2.2 Account security. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Do not share your login credentials. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

2.3 Membership tiers. We currently offer the following membership tiers, which we may refine over time:

  • Explorer (free): our free tier
  • Navigator (paid subscription): currently offered at £4.99 per month or £49 per year, subject to any future pricing changes displayed at the point of purchase
  • World Hugger (loyalty/discretionary tier): not available for general purchase and granted based on loyalty and/or criteria we notify to you, which may include more than five qualifying package holiday bookings through Go Hug The World, and may also be granted at our discretion

2.4 Non-transferable. Membership status, tier benefits, and account access are personal to you and are not transferable.

2.5 No guarantee of savings or availability. Member-only offers, reports, tools, content, vault access, or benefits are not a promise of any particular price, discount, availability, or suitability.

2.6 Navigator billing and payments. Navigator subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may appear on your bank statement, and Stripe’s own terms may apply to payment processing.

2.7 Navigator cooling-off period for UK consumers.

  • If you are a UK consumer and purchase a Navigator subscription online, you may have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of purchase.
  • If, within that period, you choose to access Navigator-only digital content, member-only tools, or premium areas, you expressly request immediate supply of the digital service.
  • Where permitted by law, your refund entitlement may be reduced or lost to reflect the service already supplied.
  • To cancel, contact us using the details at the end of these Terms.

2.8 Suspension or termination. We may suspend or terminate your account and/or membership, including tier status, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, attempted fraud, abused the Services, misused rewards or game mechanics, or acted in a way that conflicts with our standards. Where possible, we will act reasonably and proportionately.

3. Appointment Bookings

3.1 Consultation services. Appointments booked through our website or booking tools are for travel consultancy and planning.

3.2 Membership-based access. Some appointment types may be available to all visitors, while others may require Members Club access.

3.3 Cancellations and no-shows. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.

4. Travel Bookings, Payments and Financial Protection

4.1 Our role. Go Hug The World acts as an agent for tour operators and other travel suppliers (“Travel Partners”). When you book travel, your contract for the travel services will usually be with the relevant Travel Partner named in your booking documentation, and that Travel Partner’s booking conditions will apply.

4.2 Holiday payments. Payments for holidays are handled through Felloh, Independent Travel Experts (ITE), and/or the relevant Travel Partner’s approved payment systems, as applicable to your booking. This is separate from Navigator membership payments, which are handled through Stripe.

4.3 Financial protection. Where your booking is made through ITE or another protected structure, you will receive the relevant financial protection documentation that applies to your booking, including ATOL and/or TTA protection where applicable.

5. Privacy & Data Protection

We handle personal data in accordance with UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy.

5.1 Data collection. We collect personal data you provide during registration, membership use, enquiry, appointment booking, travel planning, and booking.

5.2 Technologies used. We may use secure technical infrastructure, authentication systems, databases, analytics tools, advertising pixels, scheduling tools, and payment providers to operate the Services.

5.3 AI usage. We may use AI-assisted tools to support itinerary drafting, summarisation, workflow efficiency, recommendation support, and internal operational improvement. We do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

5.4 Alerts, saved items, and member tools. Wishlist items, alerts, and similar planning tools are provided for convenience and market intelligence only. They do not reserve inventory, hold prices, or guarantee availability.

5.5 Marketing. Where lawful, we may send member updates, offers, and communications. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

6. The 5% Stewardship Pledge

6.1 Mechanism. We may reinvest a portion of profits into local stewardship or social-capital initiatives.

6.2 Voting. Registered members may be invited to vote on local projects. Final allocation remains at our discretion.

6.3 Clarity. The Stewardship Pledge is a company commitment about how we allocate profits. It is not a customer fund, trust, escrow, or booking deposit, and it does not affect the price of your booking unless we say so in writing.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership. All content on the website and within the membership area, including text, design, imagery, audio, video, layouts, databases, software, game mechanics, branding, and planning methods, is owned by or licensed to Go Hug The World Limited unless stated otherwise.

7.2 Permitted use. You may view and use the content for your personal use only. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Third-party suppliers. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, operators, or Travel Partners.

8.2 Website and tools. We do not guarantee that the website, members area, game, or related tools will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or continuously available.

8.3 Informational content. Website and membership content is provided for general informational purposes as market intelligence and commentary. It should not be relied on as a definitive statement of price, availability, or suitability.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
